How I Went from Hacking iPhones to Wallpaper Wizardry

Picture this: it’s 2010, the iPhone 4 has just dropped, and everyone’s losing their minds over Retina displays. Everyone except me. Why? Because while the world was ogling static wallpapers, I was thinking, "What if this thing moved?"

So, like any sane person (spoiler: I’m not), I rolled up my sleeves, hacked into the system, and started making animated wallpapers that Apple didn’t want you to have. It wasn’t pretty.

I crashed phones, melted some code, and probably voided a warranty or two, but damn, those animations looked cool.

What started as a rebellious side gig—part genius, part chaos—turned into a full-on obsession. I wanted every screen to feel alive, unique, and a little bit badass. That’s the spark that led to WeWall: a shrine to making your screen look so good, it makes strangers ask, “Where’d you get that?”

So yeah, this all started with an iPhone 4 and a “let’s see what happens if I press this” attitude. Now, it’s a movement. You’re welcome.
